Comparison of Prospects for Religious Minorities in Pakistan and India

In South Asia, Pakistan, and India grapple with protecting minority rights. Despite India’s ruling elite being implicated in crimes against humanity, Pakistan’s lower rating on minority rights persists. India faces a more significant crisis with more incidents and fatalities tied to minority rights violations. Pakistan’s genuine concern for human rights violations affects its global image. Proposed measures include redefining issues, proactive diplomacy, judicial reforms, expedited justice, tackling hate speech, and enhancing minority representation for more inclusive governance.
