Overseas Institutional Visit and Collaboration

On the invitation of Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies, a four-member delegation led by Brig. (R) Mehboob Qadir, Director Research IPRI, visited Yangon from 2-6 July 2019. The IPRI delegation held meetings with officials of MISIS and discussed matters of mutual interest. MISIS were also provided copies of IPRI’s publications, apart from mementos. The delegation was hosted to lunch by H.E. Khalid Hussain Memon, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Myanmar; and visited the Shwedagon Pagoda and Mughal Emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar’s mausoleum.
